yea its doable, but you will have about 6:1 compression ratio and for all its worth you could more than likely get an entire 4age in there, if not just get a replacement 4ac.
is it possible to fit a 4A-GE head onto a 4A-C block???
I just blew the head gasket on my 4A-C and I heard through the grapevine that I can fit a 4AG head on to my existing block.
if so what other parts would I need to be able to do this?
-High Pressure Fuel Line?
-ECU?
-Loom?

yea just kinda checking out my options, coz I just blew the head gasket, and I wanna do a conversion eventually, so I figure now is as good as a time as any.
except Im a little short on cash, so im very, very tight atm
so looking for cheapest options.
What about if I replaced the pistions, would that increase the ratio?
Search man, there's about 3 threads on this topic.
Can be done, but.
i will leave it at that.
You can have any brew you want... as long as it's a Datsun / Corolla / What is that?
if you're going to replace pistons it's cheaper to put a 4age bottom end in and not open it up... that way you will save cash on gaskets etc
yea just looking for cheapest option. Ultimately I wanna get my car back on the road.
So my Plan B is to just replace the head gasket on my 4AC.
But I just wanted to see what options I could have, in putting a 4AG in my car.
coz I am planning on doing it eventually, but I just dont like the idea of putting money into an engine im going to get rid of eventually
so any feedback would be great.
man just get someone who has done a 4age conversion and grab thier 4ac and chuck it in, then save for 4age.
i agree with jono86 theres BOUND to be a 4ac csomwhere
yea I guess so, well at least I got a rough idea of my options,
well If im gonna save for a 4AG at least I can save for something more decent like a 20V
thanks for the advice anyway
