    You can never have too much power

    ^^ 3VZ-FE (+ turbo) probably in a Camry...

    The garrett website says:

    GT3071R = 280 to 480HP
    Displacement 1.8 to 3.0 L

    So it is well within spec... And probably the cheapest 450HP ever...

    Everything i'm reading on google says they are fine up to that figure on stock internals too.

    + 100% torque between 2500–4600 rpm, with power trailing off by 6000 rpm = win... it would never rev high enough to do any damage

    not much in the way of pics yet.
    It's a 2gr with a 2S bellhousing. Dowels match up, nothing else does :p had to make new bolt holes and mount the starter in the bellhousing. Fabbed up engine mounts to use the standard K-frame, lowered k-frame slightly and modded sump to suit.
    Thats about it so far...

    My brother in-law has played with these motors. He saw the sense in the value for money and the fact they are an underestimated motor.

    BUT! This is what he did with it...lol..made use of an sc14 as well. So yes these motors do go well in a sub 1 tonne car. Used the k-frame reversed...but yeah whole new story with FR.
