Hey guys,
Would anyone be able to tell me if a ADM ECU work with a JDM loom. I have the opportunity to pick up a good JDM engine package without an ECU and need to know if they work with each other.
I did a search and couldn't find anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

By "ADM ECU" I'm guessing you mean a computer from a AE82 or something? It shouldn't be too hard to find a AE86 computer if you really needed to. You have the full loom, not just the engine loom? The factory setup uses extra releys all over the place, under the dash and stuff integrated with the EFI system.
I THINK from memory that an AE82 ECU will not work with an AE86 4age loom due to something to do with the firing sequence of the injectors, but am uncertain re this.
this happened to me when i got my sprinter wired
ae82 loom, ae86 ecu and it didnt work
bought it off ebay so its my own fault i guess
