Hey guys, thought i'd finally start a build thread even though its a slow process for me to do anything,
but the Hachi Roku is worth it.

    Specs-

    ENGINE/ DRIVETRAIN

-4age smallport from ae92 corolla sx
    -cut and shut stock manifold
-Open S series diff and T50 box
-dodgy central exhaust with no O2 sensor...

    SUSPENSION
-falcon springs rear with VB commo wagon shocks
-Custom 7kg king springs for standard struts in front
-Koni yellow shocks set to max
-Corona rt141 control arms (painted in the worlds most hideous green)
    -25mm Whiteline RCA's
-front strut brace with rear waiting to go in
    -19mm Whiteline rear swaybar

    WHEELS
    -Work Equip 01's, 14x8.5 -6 front, 14x9 -0 rear
    -185/65R14 tyres

    INTERIOR
-Drift steering wheel from autobarn 330mm with SAAS boss kit so its nice and long
-Sparco Sprint junior on modified AE86 rails
    -Quick release steering wheel hub
-JVC head unit with 6" in dorr cards, 6x9" wedged behind the seats in footwells

    EXTERIOR
    -Vertex Style body kit
    -Rolled rear guards
-Fully adjustable carbon fibre GT wing (say what you will, it is my pride and joy ) custom aluminium brackets to hold it to the hatch.
    -JDM letterbox grill painted black

    FUTURE MODS
-Quads and an aftermarket computer for the smallport
-coilover sleeves welded to standard struts so my springs don't fall out if i hit a big bump
-dark yellow spray job with some redline tailights (Tick that one off!!!)

Once all thats accomplished i think ill be as happy as a fat kid with a cupcake :2thumbs:

I didnt have much to work with when i got it, got pretty shafted on the deal, he said it was completely roadworthy, just needed to smooth the bog on the rear guard...

To top it off, the rings were gone, the valve stem seals were rooted and the exhaust was cut off 12" before the diff, but completely road worthy... Oh and there was around $1000 worth of rust repairing and that didnt include bogging it up, that was my price if I did the bog work and paint. End rant.

Anyway, heres it with the unpainted kit that came with it and my old Rays meshies, no suspension done yet, my old crashed 86 engine in it and rear section of exhaust:

Took a good 8 months to finally paint the kit, and get suspension work done (the front bumper is missing coz i ran out of cable ties this arvo  )

Thats it till next update, any comments or suggestions other than removing the wing would be awesome

    Dane.
