I have a problem with my rims... they are 15x7 with 0 offset on the fronts i have 195/55/15 and on the rear i have 225/50/15
both tyres rub. The fronts rub the inner walls when parking etc, and when cornering hard they hit the guards!

The rears his the guards when the car corners hard or hits a bump....

What should i do... Get different width and profile tyres or just roll the guards ? or both ?

It would be great for some usefull advice
    cheers. sam

Most people have 195/50 15 on the cars and they seem to be the tyre size of choice, I have massive ass 4wd tyres atm on my 15 205/50s at the front and 205/60s at the back, was going to change them to 195/50 but now moving down to 14inch wheels.

What type of suspension do u have as well? this would also factor into why it is rubbing

I would slightly reduce the rear tyre profile and flare your guards.

Also, if you are running cut springs or some other soft rate suspension, you could stiffen this to allievate your problem.

    Hope this helps!

Mine scrubbed front and back with 205/55/15s. I've since pulled out the springs and found they were soft lowered fulcrum springs. Since replacing them with Kings I've had no trouble with bumps or cornering. Adjusting your caster a bit might help too. Note that I've used standard height springs because I wanted the longer travel for offroad (rally), however, a stiffer spring would probably have been just as effective as the old springs had heaps of deflection when I leant on them and I can assure you I weight a helluva lot less than a corner of the sprinter!
