    Hey,
just wondering if there is anyone in N.S.W that has recently completed/am going to complete a ST 20v Conversion into there AE86, and know what the requirement is to comply/engineer a 20v Conversion...and what they had to go though to get it engineered! Is there anything that must be upgraded, i.e. brakes, etc.
Any tests that are carried out?i.e. emissions (will be running aftermarket adaptronic ecu.)
conversion parts will be purchused through Kaizen Garage (Cooling and Dizzy Plates, etc.)

Hoping someone can help me out...

    Dan.

i just got mine engineered. no need for emission test coz its an ADM motor thats already been tested and complied in aus out of another car, and its a 3 month wait for an emissions test too.

cant run aftermarket ems. needs to retain factory computer and emission controls.

3 out of 4 engineers wanted vented rotors no smaller than the stock ADM ones. i had JDM front struts and brakes, no problems..

they will check exhaust noise. this i had major troubles with. extractors a cat and a cannon with 2.25 inch zorst was like 108db at 4k. i ended up using a small as tri-flow muffler and 6 restrictor plates to get it to 88db. limit being 90db for my car. i think 96 or 93db for earlier cars? pre 83 or sumthing like that.

your speedo must work and be accurate within i think 5% maybe???
