Hey guys i have a 4age jdm blue top and was just wondering what parts i should put in her for a rebuild? I want quick without a turbo, but reliability and drivability as it is a daliy driver! things i would like to know are, cam sizes?, crank 20v?, valve springs?,cam gears?,do i go bigger valves?,bigger pistons?, are there any weak points that should be adressed?overall i want to know of a nicely balanced engine that isnt a pig to drive but tough and reliable and dosent cost the earth! and can scare a few commodore drivers out there! thanks for your thoughts! :2thumbs:

how much do you want to pay? how hard do you want your car to be to drive?

if oyu want to scare comoodore drivers, just yell out "VB IS ABOUT TO GET WEAKER AND MORE EXPENSIVE" instead of racing them, dragging a grocery getter is about as satisfying as beating up someone who is asleep

if you want powr, best and cheapest way is turbo.

otherwise you will have to do some research, lots of research.

and it is repeated often, but is till true:

    cheap fast reliable

    pick any two
