Hi guys, I have just signed up to this forum a few days ago. The main reason is that I want learn to start drifting and can't decide on what the best car to buy for it is. I am currently the owner of a Cressida with rims and lowered springs but the auto p00 is no good and I don't think the 1jz is worth it. I am mostly looking for a cheap car like a ke70 or a corona but can't decide witch one as they both have there pros and cons.

I'm honestly a dick head and have decided to buy a AE86 as my learn'2'drift car.. But apparently ke70s are the way to go for cheap good looking cars to learn to drift and mod up, and I sopose they good for 4AGE and 1JZ I would think

    Btw welcome to 86DC forums

go with a ae71/ke70, if you find it cheap you can't go wrong, alternatively look for a bargain in the cars for sale section as plenty pop up.

My sprinter was $1,650.. (CHEAP) but it came with a lot of rust.. Expensive parts to buy for it.. And a lot of heckles..

    Welcome to the AE86DC!

You'll find opinion split as to whether KE70s (and their variants) and Coronas are the better weapon. It all depends on what you want to do with the car, take a look at the KE70/etc Members Ride section to get an idea on what setups work, and what doesn't.

BTW, plenty of information on drifting and mods to be found by using the search :2thumbs:
4AGE is here! Cheers 44GTE and Anthony for your help! http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/fo...ad.php?t=10384

the key to drifting is to be fearless. buy whichever is cheaper. id be inclided to say a manual commodore would be the best drift car in the world because you'd end up TRYING to write it off lol
