Ok so im getting somewhere with the engine now, it now has a 270deg regrind cam, bigger carb and it goes pretty hard, still lacking the top end power, but fairly easily pulls 3rd in the dry at like 5k rpm, which feels weird...low rev drifting haha

Now i dont think theres a guide for how to build one of these....im not sure if its been done in aus before, there is one or two on the US forums.

Would anyone be interested if i did a proper guide in the technical articles section for this?

    cheers

    thought i might update this,

got my license back, and the 7ac is goin pretty well now, got the weber on it and extractors, about to bite the bullet and get the carb rebuild casue its pretty old n shitty, and also dyno tune in a week.

so well see what this odd engine makes, im expecting a lot more torque increase than power, but i dont think itll be hard to get 50rwkw. well see what happens.

ill get some picks up but, basically i got defected pretty bad (its was already wayy low before i put the 165 50 15's on 15x7's, needless to say it was cop bait in every sense of the word)

so the te front end came off and got everthin back to stock ae71 spec, and then got rwc, got off defect.

over the next fe nights i put some sus in it, the essence of the term 'bang for buck'.

Kings Falcon front springs in the front,
JDI Fabrications Cut N' Shut Steering Knuckles
    Corona arms
    rack spacer
    VN rear swaybar
Falcon rear springs in the back
14x7 -0 12 slotters redrilled to 4x114 at the front (all rusted n shit) wrapped up in new RE55 bridgstone semi slicks
alternating between the 14x7 centrelines and 14x7 jelly beans on the back
obviosly still has the weldy still

slides good and will be hitting up winton once the carb is recoed and tuned.

And thats it spose...ill get some pics up soon including defect pics!

    Cheers lads
