    Default Spark plug refence and how to read them



    20v plugs are BKR6EYA11

    16v Bigport is BCPR5/6E .8 i think
    Smallport is the same cept with 1.1mm gap.

    Its been awhile so i may have them mixed up?

    Yeah you have them mixed up.

    16v Bigport is:
    BCPR5E-11
    BCPR6E-11

    Smallport is:
    BCPR5E-8
    BCPR6E-8

    So if im running a bigport with heaps more comp (shaved head/block and thinner HG) would it be better to run the smallport plugs?

    The race cars at work run 1.1 plugs and they are extensively worked.

    I always knew how to read them for motorbikes, but never knew what the extra bits were for cars, cheers

    no, NGK are the most popular. But you can cross referance other brands with the ngk book.
