Haven't updated my thread for ages so i thought i might as well.

Done a fair bit of work to it since i last posted:

    Got my windows tinted.

Replaced some weird ass Venezuelan shockas that were in it. Now running KYB Rally Super Specials

Finally tuned the car to a point where i am happy with it. In hindsight i think 44mm carbs are a touch to large for street use :/

Have a T3 shortshift now which dramatically reduces the throw without the need for popeye forearms to select a gear.

I have a set of TODA adjustable cam gears ready to go in, but first i need to sort out which direction to go with a new set of cams

    Installed Speco gauges.

Also have put my sound system in. i have a focal 8" ready for it when i have the time.

And yeh heres a few snaps:

So its been like 2 years since i have updated anything. I moved to Perth and lived there for a year whilst the car stayed in Adelaide.

But since i have moved back ive done a fair bit on it.

Done the brakes up, now got JDM brakes on the front.

And ive also rebuilt the engine again. Still using the Mikuni PHH44's

Its now got TODA 272/7.9mm for both intake and exaust
TODA High power pistons, still 81mm bore
    TODA Valve springs
    TODA Valve guides
    TODA Adjustable cam gears

I had another head done up with a new CNC machine that does a magic job, crazy 6 micron finish or something ridiculous and the cut seats are super. A common problem with normal seat cutting is the valve heights are always different but since the computer lasers everything to get the dimensions they are now all identical.

I was thinking about polishing the ports but decided against it after reading alot about BDA Cosworth head work (essentially identical design), so i just cleaned up some shit inside them.

Heres a couple of pics and a vid:

I've been running TRD 272's for about 6 months and can vouch for some big smiles driving! Engine bay looks great, nice and neat which looks better than totally hidden imo.
