    Default Video of First Start

Been working on the car a fair bit lately, putting her all back together, and today i finally got it started. It didn't sound to bad either straight out of the extractors, couldn't hear any strange noises so i was pleased. I stuffed around with the ignition for a little while and got a few grumbles and some flames out the carbies and finally she fired up. Here's a short video. Shouldn't be too long before she's on the road.

An update on the car. I have now got PHH44 Mikuni carburetors on it now as the Weber carbs were garbage, and i runs really well just a touch which i can fix with some new jets. Went for my first drive of the car in over two years and everything works great and it has much more power than i thought. Here is a few pictures of what the car looks like now. I still have to put the white side strips on but i want to get them straight to ill have to take my time.
