    hey, might seem like a dumb question or i am a tard, but would need to run a ecu, if you had a microtech computer? would it matter if its a adm or jdm engine? Thanks

    It helps if you understand what you are asking before you ask it, because i am getting the distinct impression you don't

    The adm engine (a 4ac) doesn't have an ECU anyway.

    a 'JDM' engine (i assume you mean a 4A-GE) Does run an ECU.

    AND.

    In most cases a Microtech will REPLACE the standard ECU. The reason for this is that you cannot change any of the settings on a factory ECU, but a microtech you can do almost anything depending on which version.
    You can have any brew you want... as long as it's a Datsun / Corolla / What is that?

    microtech is all stand alone computer, if u have big plan for ur car in the future, its best for a stand alone unit rather than a piggyback

    microtech only came out in stand alone no piggy back
