    Default Prewers AE71 - 4AGE - Clean conversion

Heres my $200 daily, now becoming more than a daily now though

Picked up a few months ago, finally got round to getting roadworthy/rego.
havent done much to it, got makita's all round, new wheels/tyres on front
perfect for either a SR20 or 4AGE, not sure which path yet, its only a daily for now, see how the modyfying bug goes.

I'm new to the RWD corolla scene, looking at lowering properly in the coming months, AE86 struts, brakes, shocks etc..

    before

    as it sits now

And heres my other car, trying to sell, powerdyne super6, 12psi blah blah

how the fuck did you pick up an ae71 for 200 blings. thats awesome
dont go the usual sr route, turbo a 4agze instead. a lot simpler than sr conversions

Did i mention i have A/C, and it works.. haha

Nil rego, no brakes, whining diff, covered in moss when i picked it up, took 3 hours to clean with a pressure washer. Its Auto at the moment, that wil be rectified in due course.

Modifying bug has already bit, ripped the stereo out of the commodore, installed a few ricer guages (oil press, water temp), along with new steering boots, pads, shoes, cylinders, diff oil and pan gasket (was dead empty, damn snoozers...), points, condenser, new GT40 coil sitting out in the shed somewhere to fit also. scored a set of rims for nothing so lashed out and put some Yokohama C-Drives on em, they cost more than the purchase of the car, haha. Will do the rears when the rear tyres are fryed...

Engine bay when i first popped the bonnet

silvia crossmembers bolt in with probably 2mm of elongating of holes to fit to ae/ke's x-member mounting points - ideal. then your eng mounts etc are done, only prob is changing clutch is an engine out job.
make a gearbox crossmember and get used to the shifter sitting back further and you've got yourself a 900kg car with 150kw+
turboing 4ags requires new exh. manifold and locating a rwd or modded fwd inlet which gets a bit tedious and hard these days, finding 4ages let alone 4agzes down in tas is woeful and ends up costing the same amount as sr/ca conversions. in the end do what you want. otherwise you'll never be happy with it.
if you need any help with it prewer drop me a line.
