Default What engine? Somebody help the spaz..

Ok, bought a sprinter, thought about fitting a rotor, decided to go traditional. At the risk of sounding like a complete retard, what is the best N/A toyota motor to fit that will bolt straight in. At the moment is got the stock pox ass carby powered wheezer that it came with from the factory with a five speed box. Its the slowest, most woeful engine i ever been unfortunate enough to own. I want something fuel injected, high revving with reasonable power figures, and i want to go N/A. Whats the best, and will it match up to the existing gearbox? Thanks in advance. Crispi.

smallport 4age is win when it comes to power vs cost vs tuneability etc.
