owned my 86 for a month now, thought id put up a thread n some pics, bought it for $5500 with a 16v in it, pod, extractors, 2 1/4" exhaust, 14x6 meshies, kyb inserts in the stock struts, kings springs, just jap front strut brace n also came with dents all over, a bit of rust on the rear quarters.
when i first got it
since then, painted front and rear bars black
added some dish, pair of 15x8s, 0 offset but i have no idea what brand they are, got the pair for 200 bucks with about 50% tread, sweeeet
a bit of engine bay detailing and a catch can
and a pic of the 86 next to my old 92
on the cards which i have the money for atm but no time as it is my daily atm
full respray in ford octane, (orange with yellow pearl), black bonnet (cos its mad), vertex kit, (arriving within the next 2 weeks), and a ducktail wing
ive bought silvertop quads, but after the spray, this is the list i am gonna knock off, a t3 manifold, trumpets, microtech lt10s
a w5* gearbox, oz giken twin plate, t series rear end, kaaz 2 way, FC rx7 front brake upgrade, G4 coilovers or D2 coilovers, (give me some feedback on them), sigma lca's. adjustable caster rods, 4 link rear, adjustable panhard rod, stripped interior, bride seats, and plenty of practice

ive started on the motor side of things, its gonna be the standard bigport bottom end, with a smallport head, wade 800A grade cams, HKS valve springs, ported to the shit house, T3 vernier cam gears, t3 itb manifold adaptor and ST ITBs

bit of an update, can really see it all getting together now
stripped the head and sent it off with the cam covers to get hot tanked and also cracktested, all was good so.....
came up so clean, so went and painted the cam covers in VHT gloss black, as will look good with polished trumpets, so far this is wat it looks like on the head stands, still waiting on the HKS valve springs and wade are grinding my cams as i type
and also a picture of wat the difference is on a small port head and a t3 ITB adaptor, yes, there is alot of restriction with a 1mm step all the way around the port, plus the angle, if doing this mod, i would suggest atleast like a good 30 hours with a diegrinder, which i will be starting 2moro, plenty gains to be had
finally got my wade cams, they are 800A grade billet cams, which have 308 duration, spastic much???, also i finnaly got my HKS valve springs and i am now awaiting t3 cam gears fron bustin_86 at kyouteki. and just finished porting and polishing the head, all should be good and going soon, just gotta get the trumpets, adaptronic ecu and a vrs kit

Head porting is finally finished, just need the trumpets, adaptronic ecu and a vrs kit n engine is done, then onto suspension n driveline
