Looks good mate
Pretty clean too and looks straight, one of the best things for an 86 if you can find one.
Hope the rest of the ze conversion works out well for you
Hey guys
Been hanging around these forums now and thought it was about time I put a members ride thread up…. so here goes
I've owned the car for about 2 years now.
When I got it back then…
Smallport 4age
King springs
KYB shocks
jdm T series (non lsd)
2.25 exhaust
After a year of this setup I looked into going for the ze, after stumbling across an offer I couldn't refuse I started the conversion, being a full time uni student time or funds are not readily available, so 8 months later this is how it stands….
Engine -
ae92 afm 4agze
microtech ltx8
ported head and match ported manifold
modified intake
oversized crank pulley
Suspension –
Koni adjustable reds (rear)
Kyb shocks (front)
Custom springs (not chopped) all round
Driveline –
T50 (seeing how long it lasts)
Exedy ceramic button
T series ( non lsd)
They only angle my car looks straight from![]()
The engine at home in the bay and nearly done
Will get some finished engine bay pics up sometime…….
The body is in very average condition, plenty of rust in the usual spots and a few dents here and there.
There are still a few things I need to do to get it running properly, its over fuelling and fouling spark plugs, better radiator.
As far as future plans go heres the list –
s13 front end
W series gearbox conversion
LSD
Turbo??
:2thumbs:

I think the fact that it had just been cleaned and polished in those pictures makes it look straight.
There is a massive dent infront of the rear passenger wheel <_<
i took the rear bar off a while ago and what was uncovered nearly bought me too tears........
cheers for the comments guys
Looks nice and good luck with getting it all how you want it.

cheers man,
its been up and running for a few weeks now, its drowning itself in fuel (over 20lts/100kms <_< )which sucks big time,
i used that same intercooler you had on the rolla, i have another on order though as i think i have a leak somewhere.
should be getting it tuned in a few weeks so should be all sweet then,
heres some pics of the doner car and engine when i first got it .....
definately does not reflect its former glory
i'm aiming to have it tuned for the OST dyno day in october, see how we go
And it does go well even though its not very healthycant wait till all the niggles are out of the way!!!!
Finished engine bay pic

holy crap the grass up there is so green!! :o stupid drought!!!
your cars nice too! i love the little twincam 16 badge on your grille.. looks rad
hehe no offence but your intercooler piping is whack!!
any more plans?
no offence taken as i am planning on changing it as it sits too close to the extractors. <_<
well i did have a Kaaz 2 way organised to go in last weekend but the guy seems to have disappeared.
Tuning is at the top of my list, then most likely an s13 front end.
