Got the last coat of primer on and lights in, still had ae71 rad support and was stoked not to have to make up brackets, and with the shoddy wiring managed to get all my lights working! yay! Getting it on the road is getting super close now!

Thanks Jeff for the hand sanding

and Hey Tyson, yeah looks like i need to invest in a heat gun at some stage!

Hey mate........its not hard to fit the bumpers on.....
just either bend the reo bar back a little or cut about 1/2 an inch of the front.....( if reo still attached)
then cut the top corners of the 86 front bar to allow it to slide all the way on and reach the wheel arch.....
for the rear you just have to cut about 1/2 an inch off the top lip to allow it to reach rear wheel arches......
Then a few screws in the right places and there you have it

you can also use a hot melt glue gun to fill the cracks in the bar (very cheap item from a hardware store) Then sand back and paint....

ah thanks, yeah it looks as thought there is a bit of cutting and mashing as it sits way too far out with the reo bar where it is.

and glue gun you say... hmm that fits the budget but is the glue strong enough to bond it properly??

Looks good with the lights back in. Is the interior super mega crazy dusty from the primer?
