    hey everyone just got some rims, just wondering how to get them clean without scratching it as they have some stuff stuck on them, any help cheers

    how extensive do u wana go?

    just get some cutting compound then buff em heaps will imporve the look

    and paint centres black!

    rub back with the finest grade sand paper wet/dry likw 2000 grit
    then hit it with buffer cutting compount then clean buff should be a imporvemnt

    or get em restored by a wheel restorer

    I polished mine up months ago with a rag and AutoSOL...

    fkn took me 1.5hours but it looks very nice. Unfortunately their due for another polishing session...

    Also related to the topic, what paint are you meant to use for painting parts of rims? just some plain black in a rattle can or something a bit better?

    I would highly doubt a standard spray can would give you a good job/live up to the conditions hehe.

    Dunno, prob best to get them probably re-painted/chromed/whatever. :2thumbs:

    any sorta clear coat you can put on when finish polishing? so it wont fade out in a few weeks
