Toyota President Katsuaki Watanabe announced that Toyota and Subaru are planning a new lightweight RWD for the near future (presumably to cash in on the cult status of the AE86)....

Lets hope its around 20k like toyota says and I was hoping it was a L4..

basically i was going to wait until i could get one second hand.
Then Rip the engine out straight away , and drop in a SR20..
NO cop would suspect such a new car to have a illegal engine transplant
It would Smoke Silvias / Skylines / Supras / V8 commos...Ultimate sleeper IMO.

Looks like i better start the reasearch on putting a FJ20 ...

come on guys, how can you assume the engine in it won't be good...you never know...might be a mad engine
personally...i would buy one and run it in as per normal...then have as much fun as i possibly can with it standard (albeit minor mods such as exhaust, filter etc for breathing) and when i got over the power i would spend the money and supercharge it...mad
