For those of you who don't know, my name is Paul, and I like Corolla's.

All of my cars have names and there is reasoning behind each name, it makes it easier to explain stuff quicker if they all have short names.

    Akie ^

Just registered Akie this afternoon (my yellow 1982 KE70 Panelvan). It is my new daily and it's so good to be back in an *E7* after almost 12 months.

It has done 70,500kms, didn't run when I bought it just needed a new battery and an oil/oil filter change to be able to start it, then it wouldn't drive because it had a deep fried clutch (original clutch too i think, it had aisan printed on the plate) so I got one on ebay. When my brother and I pulled out the gearbox and clutch the flywheel was all grooved so i threw in another one which i had lying around from another KE i had wrecked a few weeks ago. And the original 4 speed has been left out for a K50 which is now in it Only needed a short list for roadworthy and it's now all sorted and drivable. Angel eye quad headlight conversion to come like my avatar.

    Beakie ^

Currently Auto, ewwwwwwwwww, going to change for sure. Got plates BKE-700 in the mail this afternoon also to go with Akie's :2thumbs:

    Oh - edit
Almost forgot to show some of the stuff for Beakie...

    That's all for now.

Yeah I bought the panelvan on ebay, my brother and I picked it up on a trailer and towed it back with his ZH Fairlane. I actually bought it with full intention of picking it up and taking it to my brothers property (Heathcote) to store for a few months until my girlfriend and I move into the house we just bought, coz i was going to cut it up and use the B pillars, quarter panels and long doors to turn Frilzy into a coupe. When we got to look at the car we just said, this thing's too good to cut up and brought it home to work on / register.

Panelvan is now sporting remote mirrors from one of my AE71's because one of them was broken and held on with tape and they didn't have the little remote stick things so I just swapped them for the better ones. No intentions of fender mirrors for the van, just doing that on Beakie.

Other plans for Beakie are to give it a little power upgrade, if i can get something at the right price I will update in a few days time with news

Beakie's power upgrade wont be A series, will be 3T, most likely later change over to a 2T head and my cousin is giving me a 32/36 weber, adaptor plate and manifold off the TA22 track car which has recently been swapped for a 45DCOE. I've driven the TA22 around winton with the 3T bottomend / 2T head, 32/36 Weber, Extractors and 2 1/2 inch zorst and it goes well enoguh

Will definatley be an upgrade from 4K auto.

More pics later in the week.
