So I decided to start posting pictures of my current time comsumer.

I have always been into the AE86's since I was 8, the days when you can get them new at the nearest toyota dealership. I had a relative that had one new. 1st chance I had upon bein able to drive, i picked up my 1st AE86 GTS Hatchback.... Years later, after financial ups and downs, I picked up another car from a local website to see if I can make it a keeper. Upon driving it daily and exposing it's hidden issues, I decided to seek a better shell to build up. I found a GTS hatch shell on Craigslist for 150.00 that had only 3 spots the size of a quarter with rust and only a hand ful of dings. It was at this point where I decided to take my time and with a very very small budget, do it all myself ( with the help of a few friends ) and put together a nice ride.

The objective of this car is to be a RELIABLE, FUN, CLEAN and FULLY FUNCTIONAL hachi put together as MY desires seem fit. I am NOT trying to make it soley JDM, DRIFTER, AUTOX or SHOW. I am taking a little bit of this and a little bit of that from all walks and put it together as my cerebelum seems to guide me as what I like and not really caring if anyone else likes it or not. That is why I call it a ReyDM build ( my name is Rey and I'm using both JDM and USDM parts and ideas added with a little bit of my flair )

So, if you are a Master Toyota Mechanic, Seasoned AutoBody Refinish Technician, JDM Enthusiast - please be kind since I'm not in any way attempting to build the ultimate AE86 with the best of the best. Feel free to criticize but with the understanding that I am not attempting to build a Cover Car Show dream Machine.... Just a Reliable Daily Driver with a little Spunk to it......

I have basically done it all so far myself (from all of the body work, Paint, mechanical ect....) But I did recieve the help of 2 Very good friends and skilled professionals with a few of my issues..

Well here are a few of the images from my laptop....enjoy and feel free to give me any feedback whatso ever.. thanks
