Bog wouldn't be structurally strong enough, i would say you would have to weld as a minimum.
I would have thought the strut top holes would be the same, but thats just at a quick guess.
hey guys this is probably gonna sound bogan style what im about to ask but here goes
i got a te71 but the front strut setup is whack (same setup as t18 series 1)
so 2 bolts are identical to aexx's but one is different
i wana by camber tops soon so what i was thinking was redrilling the one hole and bog up the other one so i can use aexx's suspension setup
has anyone tried this or got any suggestions
cheers

just drill it
buy an 86 strut brace, it will cover the old hole
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Gilly @ Nov 1 2007, 07:05 PM) </div>i already did just redrilled one of the holes on my strut brace but even if i did redrill the strut tower it id still see some of the hole ill probably just weld it
cheers for the suggestions guys
no point buying an AE86 strut brace, cause then you'll have to drill that out as well in order to disguise the drilled out strut tower,
and thus, not disguising anything :2thumbs:

no, If you get AE86 camber tops, drill out the hole in your strut tower, then fit an AE86 Strut brace.. it will cover the original hole.
