    Thanks for the replys guys

hmm, Great idea lo_rolla, Thanks for that.

From what you guys are saying I guess I should be focusing more on shocks, but anything softer than what I've got now should be good. And also sicne the Excel G's ae for the street then I guess it would be a good combination. Since the Excel G's come in both Short stroke and standard does anyone know how shorter are they? And when they say short stroke is it always that same from manufacturer to manufacturer or fdo they have their own length.

    Cheers, David

They are out of different, heavier, cars both front and rear hence being shorter and having stiffer valving than factory corolla shocks.

About 60-70mm shorter stroke on the KYB Excel G's from stock.

I though Short Stroke Shocks from KYB Excel G's were the same as the standard Sprinter ones except they are short stroke? Damn that much shorter lol, I thought they were only like 40mm shorter or something like that, but I guess they are a decent drop. Too bad I don't know what a stock height Sprinter looks like.

yeah i probably over estimated, its would be about 50 or so actually.

Front excel g shortys are from an MR2 rear, rear ones are from a holden panel van rear of some description, hence them being stiffer than factory shocks.

The KYB Excel G is a quality factory replacement shock, we just use the part numbers of different cars to get the shorter stroke and stiffer valving that the heavier cars use, quite smart actually.

I've been using KYB Excel-G's (365077 Celica) front and (343113 Holden) rear "short-stroke" shocks with 220mm 6kg/mm front and 260mm 4.5kg/mm AJPS springs for over a year now.
It's perfectly fine on the street, even on the really bad roads I have around me.
I've even driven 2000km in 2 days with this setup and had no comfort issues.
This setup goes quite good with spirited driving in the hills and on the track, too.

And this is the kind of height you'd expect:

David your question isnt going to be answered properly and I strongly suggest you dont make my mistake by listening to advice but instead try other peoples cars in your actual area for atleast 10 minutes. It is the only way to know what you might like.
