Default Heater Tap...Where do the hoses go?

Hey guys, doing my GZE conversion, and thought might change my heater tap, as it is fucked, and no engine made it all the more simpler...however, I pulled it out without noticing where the hoses went...so...where do they go to??
    Cheers

theres a maximum of 4 ways it can go on. im trying to figure out what way it goes, though fwd engines plumbing systems suck dick in an ae86

so just give it at go and see which works best.

i do beleive however nothing will work 100% correctly unless you have a rwd ae86 plumbing setup

your not trying to sell rwd ae86 plumbing setups are you?

    fwd thing works perfectly well

    will this help you out??

the other pipe that comes out of your heater goes to the back of your head.

ive got that setup, works perfectly fine.

    hey??

there is only one pipe coming off the back of the head.

the pipe labeled "loose section of pipe bla bla bla" goes to one of your heater pipes (via the valve). and the plug on the back of your head goes to the other pipe of your heater core.

well thats how mine is done anyway....im pretty sure....

my heater used to work well, but my valve is stuffed (16V in my car btw) another one of my jobs....

It's the other way around, back of head pipe goes to heater tap/valve, pipe from remote thermostat goes to other pipe on heater core

    yer sorry Nikkojoe is right

valve is there to stop the hot water (from the head) from goin into the heater.

though i reckon it woudlnt matter if you got them the wrong way around. assuming there isnt some one-way valve inside or something....

Im confused...I'm talking about the two pipes from the valve, connected to the cable going inside to the heater (i thought the valve was the heater tap)

There are two pipes coming out of, i assume, the heater on the firewall, and two pipes out of the cable controlled valve and one coming out of the back of the head. Currently, the remote thermostat pipe labeled "Loose section of pipe used as an extension piece" is going to the back of the head..

    Is this wrong??

    ok it goes like this:

back of head to heater tap,
    heater tap to heater core
heater core to back of water pump or thermostat housing

thanks Sam...I assume the heater core is the two pipes coming out of my firewall...does it make a difference which pipe it goes in and which it goes out??
