2 1/4" pipe, had a really long resi as well but i swapped the resi for a muffler. Its still loud as f**k though. The echo off buildings at 7,500rpm is sooo addictive.
p.s its massive in real life. ooohh yeeeah.

Remote Control to open or close the baffle lol.

Mate runs one in his skyline (~318rwkw) and when the baffle is closed its suprisingly very quiet. He only uses silent when the fuzz is around or double demerits / etc.

When its open, its just straight through and LOUD!

Is this (and jips) just a straight through pipe that gets larger or is this some sort of muffler? Or have you got the muffler mounted further back and this is just a larger bit of pipe? lol, I like the look of these.
    cheers

On mine the tapered bit is made like a straight through muffler (eg perforated tube with matting around it) and the bit on the back after the weld line is like 5"pipe. I've never seen one the same and the only marking on it is a small plate, welded near the flange, under the diff, with 9K74 stamped on it. The flat bit is where it ran into the ground. It gets really dirty, i guess not many people say that when they wash their car they have so wash their muffler too!

I had this made up for shits and giggles but it sounded raspy so i went home and put my tip back on. It sounds heaps better and and made it a tad quieter to.

Wally, those varex systems look good, i like the twin tip one.
