    Default Mufflers

    Hi guys
I am in the market to buy a new muffler, mine is giving me the jimmy brits, way too loud, drones and has a crap exhaust note (typical rice cannon).
I was after a classic style sports muffler, I'll try and find pictures of ones I'm after tonight and put them up here.
Want one that's nice and quiet and has a bit of a bark, but nothing major. Going for day to day driveability and want to be able to hear the stereo.

What ones do you guys have on your cars and what kind would you recommend that would fit my description?
Should I just go and speak to some local exhaust shops (I'm northside Brisbane) and see what they could do for me.
Not looking at spending too much moneys.

    straight pipes
but it pisses me off when people assume your hooning cos your car is loud, has bald tires, a roll cage, fresh bake and dinted bumpers!!
Or driving in a wolf pack.

yeah i would go to your local exhaust shop and ask for a small - mid sized mercury mufflers, muffler and get them to try fitting it backwards. (will not be as quiet and will be more flowy) so just make good friends with you local muffler guy and try and convince him to allow like half an hour just to play around with different mufflers and find what you need.

ask for a "sports" muffler. that would fit the description well.
