Anyone bother to watch it? Game was a joke and Beckhams over rated. He's got good vision and skills, but he's far from as good as everyone makes him out to be! LA's a dirty side too. Glad to see Sydney smash them in the end.

it was only an exhibition game, galaxy have just started their season and are out of shape, beckham has been injured for a while now and not many can match his skill

Anyhow, I usually cant sit through a whole game but 8 goals was incredible. I think it was a great game. Especially when the 17 year old had his arm stood on and the girly man who stomped it actually took a dive when the kid shoved him. Hes really tough when the ref ain't watching, but when hes looking, its oscar time. To me that is the reason soccer will never penetrate the Australian market. We are raised with a football code with heavy contact, and people who play through injury and illness, and I don't think anyone can stomach the dives we see every soccer game. Its also the reason we will never ever win a world cup. There is too much acting needed to win a soccer game and the naive Aussies play a skillful physical game that will always make us lose. Every time we brush past someone they take a dive and we give up a penalty. Did anybody notice a distinct trend towards this type of result in last nights game? I know we took the W but that was a reflection of the poor quality of the Galaxy.
