Nice work man, I'm doing the same project in my ae86 atm. 20vt FTW.
tiny update. Actually got my car home to the new house and undercover locked up in my garage today. The house is high set and the workshop / garage wasnt really set up for a car, it only has one door not quite wide enough for a car to get in, so me and my bro spent most of the day taking a wall down so we could drive the car in, then put the wall back (its going to be a long project) i'll get some pics up tomorow, b4 we start to take the engin out of the ae71 ready for the 20valve finally,
also bolted the bell housing up to my w57 fits perfect (AJPS takes a while to get them because they order them from over seas, but its a good product)
hopefully the whole project starts moving forward now
here's some pics of the new home for my ae71 its not coming out till its done
also did some work today the motor is ready to come out tomoro, front end panels are all off, lights out of the car so hopefully by tomoro arv i can start to clean up the engin bay
spoke to my machanic saturday motor should be built in about 2 weeks time, then i just have to make a turbo manifold, inlet plenum, screamer and exhaust pipe alot of other things and about 12months it should be done
got the engine and box out today, along with all the piping, solid lines in the engine bay, booster and clutch master
gave the engine bay a good clean came up a treat, i'm going around to my parents house tomorrow to get dads 4" grinder so i can attack all the brackets that wont be used anymore, i'll get the diff out tomorrow and trial fit the hilux hopefully, also mite do a heap of measurements and see were i have to cut the new hole for the shifter on the w57 (it came with a cross member from an ae86 so i'll trial fit that also
its all happening now
