At your expense" or " hey man keen for swaps? ive got 27 automatic KE70's and the centre console out of mums volvo... its a pretty good deal!"

this is also a great one... I drove 3 hours to look at a sprinter the guys said was 'rust free'.
got there and there were rust holes everywhere that you could put golf balls through, which he had filled up with silicon filler.
"rust is easy to fix" he says
I'm selling one of my cars soon and im not looking forward to this shit.
If i could trade it in and loose 4k i would, but it will probably be more like 6k i'd loose.

i understand and totally agree with what alot has already been said . but i think it works both ways... like the rust free... it's mint comments and then wanting a arm and a leg for their rust hole shit box cars .... at the end of the day its a hunk of metal sell it for what is worth .... if it has rust sell it in mind that the new buyer will need to fork money out to fix the rust ...all the dealings i have had with this forum has been goodso far so no compliants there. ...

and please sprinters nowdays come standard rust. would be better if the seller actually mentions where the rust has be taken our or repaired instead of saying that it is rust free shell .

im trying to sell my mum bike, the other day there a couple of people come over to look at it and they wanted to go halfs in it. it had a heap of money spending on it and still had a bit of rego. after half an hour of talking and test riding the shela come out and said im not paying anywhere near that much for it. after i already dropped the price for them. im like well fuck off then.. stupid bitch lol, i wanted to cunt punt her because as soon as i tried to say something she would contradict me.

had a vl for sale some guys came to look at it said they would be back later with the money but got a phone call from him later trying to tell me that this20+ year old car worth 1500 was encumbered but he will still buy it for 500still dumbfounded by that one.

I've had good and bad experiences with selling cars. The best was when I was trying to flog one of my old Fiats, some dude from Sydney called, gave me asking price plus extra to cover transport, then wired the monies straight to my bank the same day.
