    not sure if these are too expensive or not but i hav them on my other fwd rolla with a BT 20v nice sound work well, will be going on the 86 soon..

    I.mec ones are quite affordable and give nice gains, I think I.mec have stopped making tho, so ebay probably the way to get them.

    I have PVC trumpets on BT, theyre still going strong last time i checked.

    And riojin, i seriously think you should bin that flyscreen idea, it would affect flow abit i reckon.

    That was supercharger.. very hot. People over here have run PVC cooler piping for 1jz/7m for a few years with no issues.

    decided i thought id try my luck making my own filter socks. spoke to a bloke at clark rubber and they stock filter sponge and some glue to suit. he says heaps of people come in to do it.

    gonna give it a crack when i get around to making the pvc trumpets.

    gotta make sure i buy some spray on filter oil now.

    So whats the verdict?

    Im leaning towards the ally ones without flanges, i need an intake mani made up anyway so may as well spend a bit extra.
