my clutch line has started to leak and since i run a sv21 slave cylinder (couldnt run standard slave as extracors are too close)have decided to make my own. How hard is it? what size is the bundy tube i need? and what size are the end nut connectors? And any tricks you have that would help would be appreciated. I can get hold of the tool to connect the end nuts.

Go to a brake shop, ask them to make a line for you from bundy tube and 2 fittings for Toyota. They will give it to you as a straight pipe, you have to bend it to shape by hand. The Toyota brakes use a M10 x 1 thread from memory. You need to have a rubber flex hose from the bundy tube near the chassis rail, to your clutch slave.
Sweet thanks johnny. Would a rubber brake line do for rubber tube? Would heat wrapping be wise as my extractors are very close?
How do they connect the fitting Johnny? are they welded on or do they press the pipe so it doesn't slide off?
I also need a new hard line to fit a JDM bellhousing setup nto my AE86.
only need a soft line for JDM bellhousing
best bet is to get a braided one made as it wont cost too much, finding hard line to suit is more hassle than its worth

The flare on the end of the steel bundy tube has to be a double flare, which takes some practice to do even if you have the tool. You need to try it several times till your happy with your own flare. Best to just go to the brake shop and order a straight bit of bundy tube with the Toyota fittings on it and flared. Then you just bend it around by hand to suit. You can also by a little tube bender from SuperCheap if you want.
For the JDM belhousing, you can use a second hand tube off a JDM AE86 (of course), or TE72 (T-18 SE) or RA60. Or you could order it new... I have ordered new brake lines from Toyota for some bits.
You must use a rubber flex hose also, which is the same as some brake hoses.
