hey everyone. I am new to this site so i thought i would introduce myself and my sprinter. My name is Mark and i am 21 from Anstead in brisbane. I was a nissan fan until my dad and i restored my grandpa's ae71 as a daily driver while we work on a skyline, but since then i have been hooked on corollas. Heres some pics of my new toy. Its currently sitting in a shed out at esk until i have the funds to get into it. Until then i will be asking many questions some probably stupid so bare with me. Cheers.

it has a bit of rust to be fixed but nothing too bad.

    Javal.
You can have any brew you want... as long as it's a Datsun / Corolla / What is that?

thanks mate i got a bit carried away with the wagon, but its a nice result. I have many ideas for the sprinter, i am not sure what power plant it will have. I am starting to lean towards an sr20 but i need to do more research. In the breaking department, is it easy to change the rear drum brakes on the Australian sprinter to discs like the japanease models?,
    cheers

Your sprinter will actually have a completely different Differential than the JDM sprinter, have a look here. That whole FAQ section is filled with some golden info.

Have a look around the members' rides area, there are a few people doing / have done SR20's

But there's also a few doing 3SGE / 3SGTE's. Have a look at this thread for some inspiration maybe?

It's a long read, but WELL worth it.

thanks allot everyone, Cheers for that info Javal :2thumbs:
some people might have seen the wagon recently appear on rollaclub, It has not been on the road long, and there are a couple of little issues still to sort out, other than that it is going strong.

nive cars mate. youre 86 looks clean as and ive said it before but
YELLOW AE86's REPRESENT! leave it yellow.

youre ae71 is pretty cool for a daily. i'd personally pimp the back out so i could sleep in there.

what model r34 is that? my dream track car is a r34 GT4 (non-turbo all-wheel-drive) with a nissan v8 dropped in it (and possible TT). Itll be a cheapish (15k for a GT4 as a base) track weapon.
