    Wooooooooooooooooooooohooooooooooooooooooooooooo

What was causing all the headaches in the end Blake?

Glad to hear its running, now don't go out and pull a James and loop it just because of the wet weather!

Pretty sure it was the wrong coil in the end, I haven't tracked it down any further. Its just lucky leo gave me one when I bought the ignitor off him.
Now I've gotta go tidy it all up again after I had to pull things apart to check them.

I figure I should update this now since the engine is 'done' and in. I've done a bit over 2000kms in it now and it all seems happy.

This was it as I finished the wiring:

It was run with the pod filter for a while, until i decided I wanted a more standard look.....so with the help of a mate I modified an N13 airbox to suit...

So this is the engine bay as it stands now...

The heat shield on the dizzy was only meant to be a temporary thing, but I can't see it changing until I've run out of other things to do.
I also have to work out a new overflow bottle, as the standard one cable tied to the battery probably isn't the best idea.
The washer bottle has been relocated to the boot, but I squashed the hose when putting the trims back on and its not working to well. I'm probably going to put a really small one behind the drivers side strut tower.

I also installed a temp gauge, and recently installed a viper remote start alarm.

I also found a whole heap of rust underneath the trims at the back of the boot, which I'm going to have to work out how to remove.

    And the latest addition:

JDM brakes, with new rotors, Lucas Pads and Braided Lines off choom78, the lines have black plastic tubing on them, which is whats coming off one of them.

Brakes will hopefully go in tomorrow or Friday, before the HR cruise this weekend.
