    Default AL25 front on E7

    Oh hai gais
wondering if anyone has bothered to try n fit AL25 front end on to a Ke70 or similar?

AL25 is the 3A 4WD Tercel wagon btw
was looking at one at pick a part and they look the same, didnt have a 10mm socket to try n swap over panels lols

its very similar to the early ae82 front end
the 3A engine is rwd format so looks like it should fit
the 3A even has factory enginer damper buy the look of things lol

by the sounds of it, your thinking about trying your luck at the mystic 4wd ke70....

i have done some fairly in depth research into it, and i think its possible, however would cost too much to do.

i will do it one day, but its gonna be awhile off yet, have the shell sitting around ready to carve up.

if your talking about just the panels, then i would say it would be fairly disgusting because of the shape of the arch

yea just cosmetics for a lark lol

the 4wd system did cross my mind, but would rather use the ae95 base to work with

id imagine that the layout of the 4wd setup in the ae95 would be fairly similar to the al25?

if it is i might go scavenge the 4wd setup from the al25 and start setting it up in the ke, then upgrade to the ae95 shit.

Not at all similar. AL25 is N-S engine layout (typical of RWD's usually) AE95 is E-W, which is common of FWD. If you were going to try and convert a KE70 you're best off going for the AL25 just because of the engine orientation.

But the 4WD system is pretty lame anyway, and default drive is to the front wheels not the rear.
