    Why so skinny wheels?

I would never recommend anything less than 15x7.5 or 14x7 with offsets closest to zero or slightly negative are sweet.

Just so you know anything with a -ve offset will be illegal on a std suspension setup due to the increase in track.

In most states any increase of over 13mm of track per side is illegal.

So you're stuck with a 7J +20 being the lowest offset if you want to be legal. But thats just lame.

It is actually an increase in track or more that 25mm total (I was thinking per side) The std rims are a +27 offset so the max is actually +15, also the max tyre size is a 215 based on a 175 or 235 based on a 185. This equates to a 7.5" or 8.5" rim respectivly.

Thanks guys , I should have mentioned that this car is going to be used as track / hill climb car , not going to rego it. That is why I bought it cheap. Previous owner , could not get rego without engineers report.

im actually going for the track DECREASE look on my ae86... track increase can be illegal, so im going to use 20 by 3.5s with a positive 75 offset.

yeah boi starting a new trend AND remaining legal !
