If you have high compression pistons then don't use the blower it will only destroy things. I think you will be able to get away with fitting 4AGZE pistons.
ok i got my self a sc14 supercharger. now the question is will it suit my engine?
i have a power fc which will run this as well as other shit but was wondering should my engine be decompressed a little?
new to the supercharge side
any guidence would be good. or links to built motors etc?
i have helped mates bolt sc14 on there motors however they gone back to ireland and no contact <_<
plus theres were 4agze blocks already lol
my engine list-
extractors
std big port rwd manifold with adapter plate
std big port injectors
288 272 hks cams
small port ae92 head been fully rebuilt and mild port and cc'd
blocks been decked
ae111 crank
ae111 rods
ae92 late model high comp pistons
power fc
been fully balanced and rebuilt
limiter set at 8500
thanks guys

hmm may have to use my other motor and rebuild it then. yeah its a daily drift warrior lol
not really disposiable atm.

what rev range are you going for? what do you want from the engine? do you want more low down torque?
it looks like youve build yourself a nice NA. id leave it like that but put in larger injectors. if you want more power bolt on a turbo and lower the compression.
if your heart is set on the supercharger i would put it on and leave compression as is. see if you can setup on the ecu to switch on/off the supercharger at certain rev ranges. have it switch off at 5500-6000rpm. you might be able to get away with using the supercharger for more bottom end torque and then when its useless switch off.
well basicly 4upwards, drift and daily, and more torque yes.
it is a nice engine but when in a drift if it drops below 4-5grand in second or 3rd it bogs
so i thought the charger would help in that aspec?
also love the whine lol

If you plan to use any form of forced induction, your better off starting with a minimum of the motor that came standard with it.... i think that made sense.
Basically anything that wasnt forced induction to start with will more than likely blow chunks.
people turbo 4age engines with standard compression, so i can't see why forced induction on low revs will be any worse. i think it would work better
they only blow up fast if you use high boost. low turbo boost on a standard 4age is fine. josh ran it for awhile. they need a rebuild sooner however
