remove the lead from the coil and and pull the boot back, sit the exposed metal with a 2mmish gap from the rocker cover, get someone to crank just quickly while your watching the end of the lead. if it's all good it should arc from the end of the lead to the engine. (if it's bright daylight may be hard to see)
that will give you a 100% on if it's the coil not sending spark.
ohh, don't go grabbing the exposed lead while the car is being cranked... you'll remember it for a little while
