    Default koeniggsegg ccx v8 into Cortina!

    "The engine can produce well over 2000hp,(it wll give about 2300hp at 2.4bar boost) but turbos is its only limitation , they can produce 1750hp at the maximum in teory , so we'll se how well they hang in there.

    It even passes 1000hp before 1 bar(14.7psi) of boost.

    If we get 1500,1700 or 2000hp really doesent matter, it is only in it's drag-spec configuration it will be ble to put down these hp numbers.

    As it is now it produces 170hp at idle, 290hp at 2000rpm... and after that the turbos really kick in... so there is always enough power...!"

    Worth a read, crazy build

    You do realise that A Koeniggsess V8 is just a quad cam ford v8. same as in our V8 falcons.

    Thatz cause no one in Aus builds tuff quad cams....The States love them. Only pply in Oz that have put any time into the ford V8 that I'm awair of is CAPA.. think it made 1000 or so at the wheels... And 170 at idle.... WTF.. have you even seen anyone start a dyno pull from idle... Pretty sick build though... would be scary fast...

    I'm putting the complete jet system from a Harrier as primaries in my dad's VE SV6. Dunno yet, but considering the option of some B52G's engines as boosters, I hear they're cheap in Russia. Vertical takeoff will be fun, should do 9's too. Haven't bought the stuff yet, but I've done the math, should all bolt up no probs. Bugger all fabrication to do.

    But seriously, crazy builds are fun to watch. There used to be a good website that tracked some of the more promising ones, I forget the URL though...
    The Phoenix; In the build since 10/06!
    :: 4A-GTE / GT2560R / W58 / TRD 2-Way / F Series Diff / Microtech LT10S / AJPS Supplied Suspension ::
    Where will it stop? Will it ever be finished? How will it go? Why am I not wearing any pants?
