Has anyone ever seen a 4age with yahama written on the cam covers??
Cos i have a guy telling me he will buy my 4age if it does cos he wants a "name brand" 4age
Obviously this guy is a complete fool but i don't want to tell him that and then find out that there is actually one out there!
    Cheers

The 2T-G, 18R-G, 2ZZ-GE, 2JZ-GTE, 1JZ-GTE, 3T-GTE, 3S-GE all have Yamaha written on them somewhere. But from memory, no 4A-GE has it written anywhere.

I do know some of the wood vaneer finish inside a Lexus comes from the Yamaha piano factory. Does this help at all? Probably not.

16 valve 4age don't have anything to do with yamaha, It was reverse engineered from cosworths BDA
20v had design input from yamaha but no stamp.
other than 4a, nearly all G series heads have a yamaha stamp on them.

edit: jonny beat me to it

I'm pretty sure Yamaha helped design the 4AGE head, they just didn't leave a mark behind on it

They did a lot of work for Toyota in designing engine stuff, and they still do.

WTF is your friend on a about Cerby? He probably doesn't deserve to own a 4AGE if thats what he is going on about
4AGE is here! Cheers 44GTE and Anthony for your help! http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/fo...ad.php?t=10384
