    Default jzx81 mark 2 and my old ae86

    Hey guys

    I know its not an ae86 but ive owned a couple and been around for ages so i have the right lol


    When my 4agte ae86 was stolen/wrecked i thought id try something a little differnt, when i seen this jzx81 come up for sale in SA i was over there in a flash.


    But first a bit on my old 86 (RIP)

    When i bought it


    Got the angle grinder out and put some wheels on


    did a little skid


    Demolished 3 of these in the process


    put a 4ag in


    did a skid and crashed and blew the 4ag up so decided it was time to get serious

    Bought it like this with kit spray and coilovers, still automatic stock engine





    Heres the mod list after 10 months off the road

    Engine/drivetrain
    Re co alternator starter powersteering
    new timing belt
    new water pump removed hydro setup
    twin thermos
    Custom dump pipes for twins
    3 inch exhaust striaght through
    Removed aircon, abs and all that crap
    FCD
    r154 gearbox
    custom xmember
    custom tailshaft
    custom shifter
    welded diff
    Wired the steering to a POT so its adjustable heavy or lighter


    Exterior

    Full Big win body kit
    Respray in black with glitter

    Suspension
    Tein HA coilovers
    Largus swaybars
    JIC castor rods
    cusco camber tops

    Interior
    Bride seat
    boost water temp and oil pressure gauges
    Full bolt in roll cage
    Installed a hand brake as they have a foot one factory
    Pedal box installed with MANUAL pedal
    nardi steering wheel

    Wheels/rubber
    BBS RG-R
    18x9.5 + 38
    18x8.5 +30

    Federal evos/supersteel combination

    Its now ready to bust a skid

    Will be going out to symmons plains for tassie drift series in two days im so pumped

    Seen that 81 at mallala once or an exact one. So low. And your 86 is dope. Nice build man.

    this thing is bullshit tuff...love it...

    cant wait to see it on saturday and cant wait to see joash steering it...

    the bloke sure can wheel a drift bus...

    its been a pleasure helping out and offering advice where i can dude hope it all pays off this weekend...cant wait to see that smile on ur face again

    About time man! As said before, very proud to have been able to help where I can on such a unique and phat (yes, I just said phat lazy! This is as far JDM as i'll ever like! ) car! Somehow, dont think you'll be breaking that diff! (Prob will now i've said that )
