hey folks
to counter the continual asking of questions such as
"what will 15x8 zero offset look like on my hachi"
i have devised a cunning plan...
basically i would like everyone to post up a picture of their wheels on their car with details of the modifications done.
LIMIT OF ONE PICTURE PLEASE. and AE86 and KE70 only
even if you have 13x5.5" + 30mm, so long as its not a stock wheel post it up. i would like a large range of information.
i need a picture that shows the following:
-show how close the wheel is to the edge of the guard
-show how high the car is off the ground (ie where the tyre sits relative to the guard)
-no turned wheels, steering wheel straight ahead (cheers Meathead #2)
please no pictures using wheel spacers.
please only post of rear fitment with STOCK differentials (S series,ke70 borgwarner, or T series) (no hilux/torago etc diffs please)
i have come up with a simple way that i would like you all to post
FRONT WHEELS
please include picture with the following details
-car (ke70 or ae86)
- wheel size (eg 15x8)
-offset (please be exact with this)
-Tyre size
-Lower control arm in use
-Camber (if using stock camber tops with longer control arm please say so)
-work done to guards to make them fit if applicable
REAR WHEELS
please include a picture with the following details
-wheel size (eg 15x8)
-offset (please be exact with this)
-Tyre size
-work done to guards to make them fit if applicable.
oh one last thing informative posts only
also if you see someone who has posted exactly the same setup as your car, you might not need to post, ill let you be the judge of this :2thumbs:
thanks guys

Very good idea for a thread! we needed a wheel fitment thread, but make sure that the pics are actually worthwhile posting and the way the rim sits can be seen clearly, i.e no turned wheels, side on angles, etc. Will get some pics up now.
