Rare ADM GT-Apex AE86

had no experience with the drums but the disk handbrake i got in mine is hopless.

T18 diff with drums is awesome in my 86.. handbrake works perfect

What handbrake cable did you use? I got a s2 t18 diff in mine and I used the ae86 handbrake cable and I've had to use almost all the thread to make it tight, so much that the thread is actualy sticking out of the center console, I'm suspecting it's just a stretched cable but I may have used the wrong cable so just checking.

The red GTV I believe was purchased by a friend from Goulburn off the original owner about 6 years ago. It looked like an ADM car but factory GE and T series.
The old guy he bought it off said he had a hard time buying it from the dealership back in the day too.

Anyway, Like many other AE86's it was written off....

That white car on the first page had an interesting history too, I remember talking to the guy when I insured it for him, from Chatswood?

If there were GTVs or Apexs imported by Toyota Australia, complied for ADRs etc, then you would only have to take a picture of the ID and ADR plates to prove it. I havn't seen that picture yet.

yes for historic value. its an ae86, a fossil. sure they performed in their day and for many years after but i would want it to compete with the latest generation of gtr's.

i would want one because there only were 41. not many other cars in the world there only were 41 of. its like the corolla gt's over in the uk. theyre worth more than jdm gt's in any flavour because there arent as many.

no it doesnt mean i prefer trannies over women, it means i prefer beautiful (rare) women over normal and would obviously pay a higher price for one.
