F***n Insane! Saw this on marvis's thread! This has been taken to an extreme level. They should have used a celica without as much rust instead of replacing entire shell, pretty much lol.

I'm pretty sure that they wanted to have the actual chassis number that the car was raced as.
Take old Falcon GTHO's for example. People have restored banged up ones of those, just so it is all genuine and the same chassis that was raced.
they got a bit carried away with a few things but, like re rolling the door frames, could have got doors from somewhere,
but i guess if you have the ability to do it, youd be silly not to.

strength is pretty irrelevant when it will never be started again or moved from its position
