    helo gents,
    I'm looking forward to buy a complete set of T50 transmission rebuild kits. can anyone tell me where can i get the kits?

    he asked for a transmission rebuild, not a shifter rebuild

    difference of 10x the price

    no point unfortunately, eventually the supply of t-50's will dry up, I have 3 blown t-50's sitting here now.... one in the car still, and the price of them is going to keep going up and up.... also some bearings aren't available anymore

    Bearings + 1st-4th synchros = $700

    that's without labour

    dustyae86: bearings are available any day of the week from the leading groups, CBC Specialised etc, i assume you meant 'genuine' though :turned:

    yo dustyae86,
    my engine is stock no mods done. its a daily driven car for work, to the market buy grocery, fishing,taking the kids to school, tuition, to the mosque. i bet with stock engine i will not blow my t50's not unless i have a formula atlantic engine under my hood

    W5* conversions are easy enough to do now, bellhousings aren't nearly as rare to come across as what they were 2 years ago. ant gets them a couple of times a year. theres really no cons aside from the obvious weight difference to doing it

    you'd cut it pretty close to getting a T50 complete rebuild for the cost of the entire (or at least 75%) W5* conversion.
