Nah sorry mate but they are different and the shape of the inlets are different (like the bit that connects the valve body to the block) hope that makes sense.
cheers matt.
Does anyone know if the st and bt valves are compatible/the same?

hmm it really depends on what your using either one for??
like you can't put st throttles on a bt head (or vice versa) i know i tried it :fap:
so yes they are pretty much the same, however the differences mainly lie in how they are applied
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (ae86-matt @ Jun 3 2008, 10:03 PM) </div>Ummm...I put blacktop throttles on my silvertop...
I admit I am taking an educated guess as both heads definately have the same diameter and length intake and exhuast valves so it wouldn't be readliy possible to have a different product. Well unless it was like 0.2mm off or something which would be annoying, but although I am no expert I am sure that could easy be taken care of with the existing seat by a head shop

Me too, he needs to think harder. Unless he has an early silvertop head with the different ports. It should still bolt up though.
hmm i might have to have a look this weekend......
But I'm sure there was some sort of difference, like the throttles had a round end but the head is square--or something to that effect.
Though if it does work i may still be able to use my bt head :2thumbs:
