hi mate,
i am thinking of doing thismod myself, very soon.
as i have been having problems with my dizzy.
so how did it go? any probs, did you have to modify any of the wiring?
I cant for the life of me find the write up on the fitment. So I'm asking questions because I'm lazy
have new dizzy and appropriate coil, I'm guessing the black wire is to neg and the yellow wire is to pos on the coil?
And from memory I just ditch the ballast and put the wire directly to pos on the coil as well??
I'm going to be doing this tomorrow so if there's anything I've missed now would be an awesome time to know, (or give me the link cause I do seriously suck at searching!)
Cheers
Simon

Here you go:
cheers mate thats awesome
thats the one I was thinking of thanks!!!!!
and havent got to it yet, got sukkered into working, hopefully this weekend.
...or today even.
Took all of half an hour to fit and check the timing. for those stuck with a 4ac definatly a cheap worthwhile mod. It made the entire rev-range smoother, which gives the perception of extra power !
nice, so how much will an electric dizzy+coil set back poor folk like me that are stuck with the awesome 4ac?
Any one know the parts number for a suitable coil for the electronic dizzy coil?
went to auto1 and they said it was the tube based one.
repco say they have one $100.
i get a 10% discount at auto1.
so thought if anyone new, then i would try and save some $$$.
