Post up a pick of the window on the side of the LSD - the shape inside the window shows us what type of LSD it is (1 way, 1.5 way, 2 way). Do a Google search on AE86 LSDs, the results that come up should help give you an idea of what brand yours is
Hi all,
I need help identifying my LSD diff centre. How do I know what brand it is? Should there be a number stamped on the centre somewhere?
Cheers

What am I doing right now? Twitter me!
Only pic I found on my comp:
From that pic, I can only tell you its NOT a trd
You really need more pics from the top (crown side) to help narrow it down further.
It's a standard Toyota LSD I think.
hmm, not too sure i agree with above, theyre always raw casted, not machined back like that.. i thought.
kazz? its actually the only one I'm not really familiar with.
there are pics of trd's and cuscos in buddy parts section.
ive had an osgiken.. its not that. tomei are made by o.s too.. i would say kazz but I'm guessing.
might be factory torsion from a celica gt4? more pics of said 'window" so we can see the internals.

I am sorry to have caused doubt.
It is a standard Toyota LSD, the same item is used in TE71 and AE86. They are designed quite differently to the TRD ones. They are 2 pinion, and use coil springs for preload.
