    Lads, Gangsters, etc,

So I've nearly put together all my internals for an expected NA 180 to 200hp. What fuel system do I need.

I'll be running quads. What parts can I use from other cars / motors? 7M injectors? such n such fuel pump.

    Cheers handsomes.

    Damien.

might wanna be more specific with your question mate, so we can give you some specific answers.

sounds like you want to setup a fuel system, injectors i got no idea, but someone will.

fuel system-have a squizz at this

your gonna need a surge tank setup, covered PLENTY of times on here, and on the Internets.

maybe have a read around, then come back with specific questions? see how you go anyway. :2thumbs:

Your right, I should have done some research first...
Maybe if people could tell me what they got and how it's working out for them....
What I really wanted to know is the flow rates for the fuel pump I'll need and the size of injectors recquired.
And any thing else I'll need.
    Insert witty comment here....

If you are running the silvertop quads, a larger set of injectors might be a good idea. 1JZ 370cc or 2JZ/3SGTE 440cc (Side feed for 20V, as opposed to top feed for 16V) are good options about $100 , $150 respectively for a set of four, I know Ant @ Kaizen has some.

Fuel system - a basic lift pump (Facet or similar) into a surge tank will prevent any starvation problems, then a Bosch 910 (450hp) or similar external fuel pump running to the front. Popular item is the VL Turbo Bosch pump (070) because they easy to get at Repco/Thompsons etc, but cheapest on eBay. My surge tank is fairly small but mounts under the car behind the diff and out of trouble. A relay from the battery running both pumps with some good cable and you would be set.

Fuel lifter pump I got Goss Item from Thompsons - $140

Surge Tank - see them from some shops or online, should be less than $80 - Mine is not huge but I prefer the undercar mounting as opposed to in the boot or special enclosure, especially for street car.

Bosch 070 (VL Turbo) with Barbed fittings on pump about $150 on eBay or the Bosch 910 (slightly larger with thread for fittings) about $165 + $10 for fittings.

Fuel line, Cable, Relay and misc fittings maybe $60

Yea, used to drive from Redy Bay every day, now just on weekends visiting the oldies. Cheers

2j injecters are best i recon cheap easy to find millenium motor sport stock them new and used all cleaned ready to go as for the fuel system vl turbo pumps are good for around 300hp, i always thought they where 040's (could be wrong) I'm also pretty sure that preditor motor sport at slacks creek sell o44 (next step up in size from an 040) for around $150, auto barn sell pretty good surge tanks for $100, peaberge (not sure on spelling) are a better brand of lift pump alot quieter than faciet about $180, if it were my car i would also invest in a good fuel reg like magna fuel or t-reg from memory my magna fuel reg was about $300 i think t-reg's are $200

be carefull buying ebay bosch pumps lots of cheap knock off's on there

my turbo 20v should make over 300hp atw i'm using twin 044's, usa supra injecters 550cc (don't use these unless you have microtech or a ecu that can handle high empeedance injecters aus 2j are fine or jap 2j what eva) , magna fuel reg, custom made surge tank, with twin peaberg lift pumps, my set up how ever is way over kill i had a few pumps left over from previous cars so i just used them all :teehee:

i should also tell you that you will never need to up grade your fuel lines ever!!! i had a mazda capella 4 door with a bp turbo motor in it running a gt45r that made 525hp atw with stock 4cyl 1.3ltr fuel lines

    good luck man

what head though. side feeds go with 20v, 16v top feed.

any efi fuel pump, in good nic, will be fine for 200hp.

7mgte are the biggest "OE" top feed injectors youll get your hands on. 7mge and gze are also bigger than stock. can't remember the numbers. seacht toymods.net

    16V Head.
I think I got this sorted now. Thanks guys.
Also a lot cheaper then I was expecting, guess all I'd need then are lines and fittings.

Every thing is comin' together for the old slut lying in the shed, can't wait to drive it again.

    Once again cheers lads.
