    there was just a bit on RPM with in car and out of car action with beau yates 86

    anyone else see it?

    what motor does he run?

    As far as I know it used to be a turbocharged silvertop 20v, but now it's a gen 2 3sgte.

    Was a good article too, not this "crazy, out of control hoons" thing we see all the time. Congrats to Channel 10 for making a good fist of it, and bringing a great car and sport to the attention of many

    His current engine is a Bates' designed/engineered 3S-GTE, essentially a Beams motor with a few modifications. There's a couple of threads in the Drift section about it. An extremely good set up for a good driver.
